Alfold Rock and Blues send congratulations to When Rivers Meet, who won four awards 2021 UK Blues Awards recently. They play Alfold on Friday 3rd September. British blues rock husband and wife duo, Aaron and Grace Bond released their debut album 'We Fly Free' in November 2020

Hosted by the legendary Blues musician Paul Jones, the band won “Best Blues Album Of The Year”, “Blues Band Of The Year”, “Emerging Blues Artist Of The Year”, and “Most Inspirational Online Performance Of The Year”.

Since then, their weekly Saturday night livestream concerts, rave reviews in the music press, and radio airplay on Planet Rock, BBC Radio 2, Radio Caroline, plus many more radio stations and shows, have seen them develop into one of the most sought-after Blues rock bands in the past 12 months.

Grace & Aaron Bond aka When Rivers Meet have kept us all sane throughout ‘the lockdowns’ with the Saturday night FB Live stream ‘Rockin the Lockdown’, some fantastic midweek morning acoustic sessions and Sunday quizzes. They have just played an exciting and powerful live set at Weyfest, Saturday 21 Aug, with Grace’s amazing voice, Aaron’s harmonies and both playing a wide range of musical instruments. They had the whole crowd Rockin it large with some great Blues numbers thrown in, check out their debut album ‘We fly free’
